Clearly, the software I mentioned in my guide is intended for use, so to speak, at home, so they do not send information to any hackers and are less powerful than the tools that, instead, use the latter to deceive users. .
How to steal Facebook password without programs
Who said that bad guys necessarily need dedicated software and apps to be able to extract the data they need? Steal Facebook password without programs it is, in fact, feasible. How? for example by exploiting the so-called SOCIAL ENGINEERING: a technique by which crackers (ie bad hackers) leverage the victim's good faith and ingenuity to steal his data.
The ways in which this technique is used are practically always the same: the cracker (or his accomplice) approaches the potential victim and, with an excuse, asks to borrow a computer, smartphone or tablet. After having physically access to the device, the attacker can freely consult all the confidential information present on the device, including the Facebook password.
Also keep in mind that crackers sometimes attack browser database of their victims to try to derive the access data that users have chosen to store in them. Clearly, the best way to avoid a situation of this type is, first of all, not to store the Facebook credentials (and any other service) in the browser and to use a dedicated password manager (protected by a dedicated master password). Another particularly popular and effective hacking technique is the Phishing. It is generally implemented by sending an email that appears to come from an online service, such as Facebook, but which, in reality, originated from a cybercriminal who finds himself trying to illegally access the victim's profile.
The email in question, which also specifies the alleged reasons for the contact (e.g. an account malfunction), generally invites the user to click on a link that leads to a Web page with the same graphics as the service reference (in this case, Facebook) and in which you are asked to type your login credentials.
If the user lets himself be deceived, it is practically himself who gives the login data relating to his account to the attacker who, in this way, will have free access to the victim's profile. How to secure your Facebook profile
In the previous lines we have seen which are the main systems adopted by the bad guys to be able to steal the Facebook password.
At this point, therefore, ask yourself how to avoid this and how to secure your account, it is practically a must. To find out more, go on reading: you will find everything indicated in detail in the following steps.
Set a secure password
First, a hacker who wants to steal a Facebook account starts by trying different password combinations, such as the victim's girlfriend's name or her date of birth. This is information that should never be used as a password: to protect yourself, you must therefore choose one password difficult to guess, preferably taking into account the following indications.
- It must be long at least 15-20 characters.
- It must not contain references to one's personal life (your child's name, date of birth, etc.).
- It must contain numbers, letters and symbols.
- It must not have been already used for other accounts.
- It must be changed often, at least once every two months.

Enable two-factor authentication
THEtwo-factor authentication it is one of the most widespread, and at the same time most effective, systems to protect the Facebook account. It essentially consists in typing, at the time of login, a second code that is provided in real time via SMS or via the app and without which it is not possible to log in on a new device or browser, even if you know the profile password.
To activate it via the Facebook app for Android e iOS, tap the button with the lines horizontally that you find at the top or bottom on the right side of the screen, select the item Settings and privacy from the new screen displayed and then press on Settings.
At this point, tap on the wording Security and access, select the option Use two-factor authentication, award-winning Activate, choose the authentication system you prefer and follow the on-screen instructions.
To enable the use of two-factor authentication on Facebook via computerinstead, click on the button with the down arrow that you find on the top bar on the social network's home page, select the item Settings click on the menu to compare and click on the statement Security and access in the side menu, on the new page displayed.
Then press the button Modification placed next to the item Two-factor authentication which is on the right, type the Password of your account, click on the button Continue, click here Activate, choose the system to enable the two-factor authentication you prefer and follow the instructions on the screen to configure it.

Enable alerts for unrecognized logins
By activating the reception of warnings for unrecognized logins, you can receive a specific notification and / or an e-mail message when your Facebook account is accessed from a new device.
To enable the function in question via the Facebook app for Android e iOS, press the button with the lines horizontally located at the top or bottom on the right side of the screen, select the item Settings and privacy in the new screen that appears and then press on Settings.
Then, click on the wording Security and access, then up Receive alerts on unrecognized logins, then select the items Notifications, Messenger e E-mail and choose, for each of the three options, whether to activate the receipt of alerts or not.
To activate the functionality in question from computerinstead, click on the button with the down arrow that you find in the top bar on the Facebook home page, select the item Settings click on the menu to compare and click on the statement Security and access, in the side menu of the new page displayed.

Other useful information
Together with the implementation of the above instructions, to increase the security of your Facebook account as much as possible and prevent its password from being stolen, I suggest you also perform the following operations.
