If what you're interested in is seeing the password you used to connect to Wi-Fi from your own iPhone (or fromiPad, it makes no difference), I inform you that to do this you must use the program, even in this case Portachiavi access of macOS and you need to make sure that your device has the ICloud Keychain, the Apple service through which login and credit card data stored on iOS / iPadOS and macOS can be stored and synchronized on the cloud.

If trying to see the Wi-Fi password from your devices you are not successful, you can try to retrieve it directly from the router. How? First, by checking the device documentation. If you have not changed the default password, the access key to the Wi-Fi network may in fact be written in the instruction manual of the appliance or on one of the Labels affixed to the bottom of the same.

You can also find your wireless network password by logging in to administration panel of the router and getting the data you need from there. To do this, start the browser you usually use to browse the Internet from your computer (eg. Chrome) and linked to the address 192.168.1.1 oppure all'indirizzo 192.168.0.1, which are the IP default for most routers. If neither address seems to work, find out which one is correct by following the instructions in my guide on how to access the router.

If you are asked to type a combination of username e Password to enter the router management panel, try with admin / admin or admin / password, which are the most used predefined combinations of all. If they do not work, consult the manual of the device or try to follow the instructions in my tutorial on how to see the modem password.

Once logged in, look for the entry for Wi-Fi configuration or to Wi-Fi security and you will find the wireless network password indicated next to the network name (theSSID).

Note that if you are using a router with support for 5GHz (dual-band) networks, you may have different passwords for the network in question and for the 2.4GHz network. If so, once logged into the administration panel of the router, go to both the menu with the settings of the 2.4GHz wireless network than in the one with the settings of the 5GHz wireless network.
